Tanja Tierie currently serves as the COO People for ING Group since March 2025 and is an Advisory Board Member for Financial Services Xchange at IDC since January 2021. Previously, Tanja held the position of COO for ING Italy from July 2021 to September 2024, overseeing Operations, KYC, Data Management, and Transformation initiatives. Tanja's extensive experience at ING includes roles such as Head of Digital Channels for the Netherlands and Belgium, where responsibilities encompassed digital transformation and customer experience for over 11 million customers, and Tribelead in Omnichannel Experience, focusing on the development of award-winning digital platforms. Additional prior positions include leadership in business lending and process redesign within ING Nederland and a senior role at Postbank for the development of new distribution channels. Tanja holds an Executive Leadership Program degree from THNK School of Leadership and a Doctorandus in Business Administration from Erasmus University Rotterdam.
