Thomas Sträter has extensive experience in finance and sustainability, currently serving in the STA Sustainable Value Chain Finance Team at ING since April 2008. Thomas specializes in facilitating Green House Gas abatement in the Road Transportation Sector and financing EV charging infrastructure. As a Sustainability Ambassador since 2016 within the Corporate Sector Lending unit, Thomas has engaged in various sustainability initiatives including the SDGs, circular economy, and Sustainability Linked Loans. Previous roles at ING include Lending Advisor & Transaction Manager and Jr. VP Corporate Lending, focusing on international clients, particularly in the automotive and healthcare sectors. Thomas's earlier experience includes a Business Banking professional role at Welten and an International Sales Executive position at N.O.A. Thomas holds an MBA from Nyenrode Business University and a BBA in International Business Studies from EU Business School, as well as ongoing coaching education at Bureau Zuidema.
