Tim Laureys

Tim Laureys is an experienced finance professional currently serving as the Head of Financing (Structuring & Origination) and Head of Equity Solutions at ING since November 2007, where responsibilities include providing derivative-product solutions for corporate and institutional clients across various asset classes. Tim leads a team of structurers, develops client engagement strategies, and trains staff to enhance knowledge in structured solutions. Previously held positions include Head of Structuring and Equity Derivatives Structurer, where Tim achieved significant profitability and exceeded growth targets. Additionally, Tim serves as a Lecturer in Advanced Derivatives Markets at ESSEC Business School since January 2024. Tim's educational background includes advanced degrees in Government from Harvard University, an MBA from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business, and Master’s degrees in Real Estate Finance and Economics from the University of Amsterdam and KU Leuven, respectively.
