Tristana Umali

Tristana Umali is an experienced professional in the fields of compliance and customer due diligence (CDD), currently serving as the Functional Lead of WB CDD and Assistant Vice President at ING since November 2016. Tristana supervises reporting functions, regulatory initiatives, and implementations, ensuring adherence to KYC processes and compliance standards while executing and maintaining ING's policies. Prior to this role, Tristana held several positions, including Manager at ING Global Services and Operations, where the KYC process was pioneered in Manila, and Assistant Manager at HSBC, focused on compliance and operational risk controls. Earlier career experiences include serving as a Senior Conflicts Analyst at DSM Manila LLC and a Customer Service Representative at TeleTech. Tristana holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila and a Bachelor of Laws from San Sebastian College of Law.
