Virpi Vuorinen is an experienced and certified internal audit specialist currently serving as the Chief Audit Executive and Head of Corporate Audit Services at ING. They have a notable history of leadership in the banking industry, having held various roles at Nordea, including Senior Audit Manager and Head of Audit. With a strong academic background, Virpi earned a Master of Arts in International/Global Studies from Griffith University, Australia, and they have demonstrated expertise in risk management, strategy, and operational processes. Additionally, Virpi chairs the ECIIA Banking Committee and has led cross-border audit teams across multiple countries.
