William de Vreede

William de Vreede is a legal expert with extensive experience in the banking and finance sector, currently serving as the Global Head of Legal Wholesale Banking at ING since March 2020. Previously, William held several leadership positions, including Head of Legal and Compliance at Nederlandsche Betaal & Wisselmaatschappij N.V., where responsibilities included managing regulatory affairs and corporate law. William's prior roles at ING Nederland involved senior legal counsel work focused on various capital markets and regulatory matters. William's career began at PwC as a legal consultant, followed by positions at Linklaters and a secondment at the International Capital Market Association.
