Wouter Meijs

Wouter Meijs serves as the Chief Information Officer at ING Türkiye and is a member of the Executive Committee, overseeing over 800 employees in technology management, encompassing application development, infrastructure, and architecture since January 2022. Previously, Wouter held multiple leadership positions at ING, including Global Head of Cloud, where responsibility extended over a department of more than 350 employees across five countries, and Head of IT for ING Direct Australia, managing approximately 380 staff. Wouter's earlier roles include Senior IT Manager for the Core Bank and Program Manager for strategic IT initiatives. Wouter's academic credentials include a Master's in Theoretical Physics and a Master's in Philosophy from Utrecht University, as well as a PhD in Analytics from Erasmus University Rotterdam.
