Wouter Mijnen

Wouter Mijnen is a senior banker with over 25 years of experience in real estate finance, portfolio management, risk governance, and leveraged finance across multiple regions including the Netherlands, DACH, Australia, France, Spain, and Portugal. Currently serving as Managing Director and Global Leveraged Transactions Coordinator at ING, Wouter leads the implementation of regulatory and compliance requirements for Wholesale Banking globally. Wouter has previously managed multi-billion Euro portfolios and has been instrumental in building high-performing teams, executing governance transformations, and delivering training programs to thousands of colleagues. Prior roles include managing portfolios in Spain and Portugal, as well as head positions in risk and portfolio management across various ING divisions. Wouter earned a degree in Banking and Insurance from Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences.
