Yuan Li

Yuan Li is an accomplished professional in data science and credit risk modeling with extensive experience in the financial sector. Currently serving as Product Lead for Retail Models at ING since July 2016, Yuan Li specializes in model implementation, COO Risk, and SAS Viya. Previous roles include Data Science Model Validation focusing on machine learning models for Anti Money Laundering (AML) and Know Your Customers (KYC), as well as significant contributions to Credit Risk Modelling for small and medium enterprises (SME), leases, and private banking. Prior to ING, Yuan Li worked as a Credit Risk Modelling Analyst at ABN AMRO, gaining expertise in BASEL II modeling and predictive analytics. Educational credentials include a PhD in Data Mining from Wageningen University & Research, a Master’s in Artificial Intelligence (cum laude) from KU Leuven, and a Bachelor’s in Software Engineering from Xidian University.
