Marcus Peterson is the Middle School Principal at Ingenuity Prep, bringing extensive experience in education management and a strong focus on literacy instruction. Previously, Marcus served as an ELA Instructional Coach and Department Chair at E.L. Haynes Public Charter School, where responsibilities included facilitating high-quality instruction and aligning curricula across grades. Marcus holds a Master of Education in Education Policy & Leadership from American University and a Bachelor’s Degree in English/Language Arts Teacher Education from Syracuse University. Additionally, Marcus contributed to youth development as a Community Youth School Developer with St. Nicks Alliance and served as a Mentor Teacher with Urban Teachers.
