Melarka Williams

Melarka Williams has a diverse work experience spanning over multiple roles and companies. In 2007, they started working at Digicel Group as an Engineer until 2010. Following that, they joined Ericsson as an Engineer in February 2010 and remained with the company until August 2014. In September 2014, Melarka became the Founder and CEO of Ingenuity Technologies Limited, a position they held until the present. Additionally, in 2020, they founded and became the CEO of TheHive Freelancing, which is a Future of Work Exchange platform.

Melarka Williams attended Calabar High School from 2000 to 2002, where they studied sciences. Melarka then enrolled at the University of Technology, Jamaica from 2002 to 2007 and obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree in Electrical Engineering with a minor in Communication & Electronics. Melarka continued their education at the University of Technology, Jamaica in 2011 and 2012 but did not specify the degree or field of study. In 2012, they also attended the Branson Centre of Entrepreneurship and the PSOJ/IDB/NCB Partnership, although the specific programs or degrees obtained are unknown. In 2013, they briefly studied at The University of the West Indies, Mona, but did not pursue a specific degree or field of study.
