Ashley Batson serves as the Senior Manager of Strategic Marketing and Business Development at Ingevity since June 2021, having previously held the position of Manager of Government Relations for Road Construction. Prior to Ingevity, Ashley was the Executive Director of the SC Asphalt Pavement Association from January 2011 to June 2021. Experience includes a role as Director of Legislative Affairs at The Palmetto Policy Group in 2009-2010 and as an Associate Attorney at Finkel Law Firm LLC from 2008 to 2009. Additionally, Ashley completed a Judicial Law Clerkship for the Honorable G. Ross Anderson, Jr. at the United States District Court for the District of South Carolina from August 2007 to August 2008. Educational background includes a Juris Doctor degree from Charleston School of Law and a BA in Communication Studies and Spanish from Clemson University.
