Cheryl Cozza has over a decade of experience in the food and industrial ingredients sector, currently serving as the Manager of IPS at Ingredion Incorporated since August 2013. In this role, Cheryl manages the Continuous Improvement Program for a manufacturing site with 400 employees, leading a Lean Transformation and providing coaching in Lean Six Sigma methodologies. Previous roles include Quality Engineer, where Cheryl initiated a plant-wide 5S program and led a team to significantly reduce microbiological failures, and Process Engineer, focused on improving manufacturing processes through data analytics and collaboration. Cheryl began their career as a Summer Intern at Cabot Microelectronics, studying material degradation. Cheryl holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
