Christopher Plant has over 30 years of experience in the chemical and paper industries, currently serving as Sr Director of Industrial Solutions for US and Canada at Ingredion Incorporated since October 2010. Previously, Christopher held various leadership roles at Ingredion, including Director of Paper & Biomaterials and Sr. Manager of Paper & Green Solutions. Christopher has also contributed to the University of Maine Pulp & Paper Foundation as a Board Member from April 2019 to January 2023. Earlier experience includes positions as Sales Supervisor and Territory Leader at National Starch and Chemical and Hercules Incorporated, respectively, as well as a Technical Service Engineer and Sales Representative at National Starch. Christopher holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Maine, attained in 1993.
