Evan Bishop

Evan Bishop is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the field of chemical engineering and operations management. Currently serving as a Department Manager at Ingredion Incorporated since May 2021, Evan oversees the health, safety, environmental, quality, and operational performance of the Indianapolis Wet Mill and Corn Receiving areas, leading a team of 20. Prior to this role, Evan was the Wet Mill Operations Lead at Ingredion's Winston-Salem plant, where success was achieved in meeting safety, environmental, quality, and production objectives. Earlier positions at Tate & Lyle involved project management and process engineering, with significant contributions including the design and installation of critical infrastructure projects and process optimizations that yielded substantial cost savings. Evan began the career with a 5-term cooperative education experience at Tate & Lyle and has also held roles in retail and restaurant service. Evan holds a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from Purdue University.
