Ian Manning

Ian Manning has a extensive work experience in supply chain management and leadership roles. Ian began their career at General Electric (GE) in 1990, where they held various positions of increasing responsibility, including Plant Manager. At GE, they were responsible for overseeing manufacturing, quality, procurement, and supply chain functions. After leaving GE, Ian worked at Global Media Online as a Project Manager, leading a team to introduce English language services on a Japanese website. Ian then joined National Starch & Chemical Limited as the European Planning Manager, where they directed the European supply planning organization. Ian further expanded their supply chain expertise as the Supply Chain Director at National Starch (Thailand) Limited, where they managed the Thailand supply chain organization and supported teams across the Asia-Pacific region. Currently, they are working at Ingredion Incorporated as the Senior Director of the Asia Pacific Supply Chain. Prior to this role, they served as the Senior Director of Global Supply Chain and the Director of Global Supply Planning at Ingredion. Ian Manning has a BA in Business Studies from Liverpool John Moores University, which they earned from 1996 to 1999. Ian also holds a Post-Graduate Certificate in Business Administration from Leicester University, earned from 2001 to 2002. Additionally, they obtained a Green Belt in Lean Six Sigma from the University of North Florida in 2013. Finally, Ian completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Business Administration and Management, General from Indiana University - Kelley School of Business from 2014 to 2016.
