John Hoekstra

John Hoekstra is a seasoned professional in Environmental, Health, Safety, and Sustainability (EHS&S) with extensive experience in managing safety across various industries. Currently serving as Senior Manager of Global EHS&S at Ingredion Incorporated since May 2017, John has achieved the best safety record in the company's history. His prior roles include Director of Global Safety for Americas at Tate & Lyle, where John oversaw health and safety efforts for 40 sites, and Manager of Global Safety at Kellogg Company, managing safety for 50 distribution centers and manufacturing plants. John also held positions at ConAgra Foods as Complex EHS Manager and Peregrine Automotive as EHS & Training Manager. Academic credentials include a Master's in Advanced Safety Engineering Management from the University of Alabama at Birmingham and an MBA with dual concentrations in Finance and Management from Spring Arbor University, among other qualifications.
