John Whelan

John Whelan is the current President, CEO and Director at Inhalon. John has also served as the President, CFO and COO at Neuraltus Pharmaceuticals from January 2014 to May 2019. Prior to that, they were the President, CEO and Director at Heron Therapeutics, Inc. (FKA A.P. Pharma) from January 2009 to December 2013.

Mr. Whelan has also served as the COO & CFO at Raven biotechnologies (acquired by Macrogenics) from January 2002 to December 2008 and as the VP & CFO at Eos Biotechnology (acquired by PDL BioPharma) from January 2000 to December 2002.

Prior to their venture into the biotech industry, Mr. Whelan worked at HP for 11 years from January 1988 to December 1999, where they held the position of Director of Corporate Development.

John Whelan has a BS from the University of California, Berkeley and an MBA from the UCLA Anderson School of Management.
