Daniel Swain is an accomplished climate scientist and advisor with extensive experience in climate and natural hazards. Currently serving as a Climate and Natural Hazard Advisor at ClimateCheck and a Weather Extremes Across Scales Research Partner at NSF NCAR, Swain also holds roles as a Climate and Wildfire Advisor at Reask and a Senior Wildfire Advisor at Inigo. Previously, Swain was a Climate Scientist at UCLA Environment and contributed to various initiatives with The Nature Conservancy and BloomSky, Inc. Swain's research has been recognized through a NatureNet Postdoctoral Fellowship and a Capacity Center for Climate and Weather Extremes Research Fellowship at NCAR. Academic qualifications include a B.S. in Atmospheric Science from the University of California, Davis, and a PhD in Earth System Science from Stanford University.
