Robert Lindsey

Robert Lindsey, CPA has a diverse work experience that spans various industries and roles. Robert started their career in 1997 as a Teaching Assistant at the University of San Francisco before moving on to become an Instructor - Statistics at the same university in 1999. In 1998, they worked at Fairfax Lectern as a Curriculum Design and Development specialist. From 2003 to 2005, Robert pursued their passion as a Professional Musician at Gratitude. Robert continued their music career at Attention from 2007 to 2010. In 2010, Robert transitioned into the education sector again, this time as a Head Preschool Teacher at Playgroup. Robert also took on the role of Accounting and Operations Manager at Playgroup from 2015 to 2016. In 2012, Robert joined Musync as part of the Acquisitions and Catalog Development team. Robert then moved on to Standish Management, LLC in 2016 and held various roles such as an Associate, Senior Associate, and ultimately a Fund Controller. Currently, Robert Lindsey is working at Initialized Capital as the Head of Finance Operations, a position they assumed in June 2022.

Robert Lindsey, CPA has a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics from the University of San Francisco, which they obtained from 1995 to 1999. Robert furthered their education by completing a Certificate in Accounting, Financial and Business Analysts Specialization from UC Berkeley Extension from 2013 to 2015. In 2011 and 2012, they studied Music Recording Industry at San Francisco State, although they did not obtain a degree in this field. Currently, Robert is pursuing an accounting program at Foothill College. In addition to their formal education, they obtained their Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification from the California Board of Accountancy in September 2017. Robert also obtained a certificate for completing "An Introduction to Interactive Programming in Python" from Coursera Verified Certificates in September 2014.
