I had a simple dream four years ago: watch a movie in my native language with popcorn in hand, without worrying about the tech behind it.

I'm Arun, ex-Twitter/X engineer. Started with Pesunga in 2020 - manual audio dubbing as a side project. Pivoted to karaoke. Then speech-to-song. Each felt like a detour at the time.
What I didn't see: while I was learning audio processing through these "failures," the open source community was solving the impossible. Voice cloning models got released. Translation models improved. The community shared breakthroughs that would've taken me years to figure out alone. AI caught up, and open source made it accessible.
By May 2024, I finally had the skills and the technology existed to make it happen.

Today we have three products:

Our Chrome extension has 120 people using it every week. They install it, watch YouTube, and the video plays in their language in real-time. Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, Hindi, English.
Fast Translate is simpler - upload a video, pick your language, watch. That's it.
Professional Dubbing is for creators who need full control. Edit, refine, publish broadcast-quality content.
We're building APIs for both real-time and fast translation.
Right now we're solid on six languages. All 22 official Indian languages work, but we're still verifying quality with native speakers. Getting every language right matters.
The bigger picture: millions of Indians have almost nothing to watch in their language. They deserve access to the world's content, knowledge, and entertainment.
