Omar Smith

Omar Smith is an experienced training and development professional with a robust background in instructional design and curriculum development. Currently serving as a Training Coordinator at Inline Plastics since October 2021, Omar leads training activities, analyzes needs, and optimizes materials. Previously, as a Training & Development Coordinator at Owens Corning, responsibilities included planning employee training programs to enhance job performance. Omar also has experience as a Part Time Instructor at Snapology and as an IT Specialist and Instructor at Belair School, where a notable achievement included a 90%-97% pass rate in Information Technology instruction. Additional instructional experience was gained at Microsoft Corporation & eLearning Jamaica, successfully guiding staff towards Microsoft Certified Educator Certification. Omar holds a BSc in Information Science from Northern Caribbean University and a Diploma in Education in Computer Studies from Church Teacher's College.
