Laura Baker

Laura Baker is an experienced Associate Designer specializing in infant and toddler swimwear, currently working at InMocean since April 2022. Baker has created CAD books, graded art, and tech packs for brands such as Wonder Nation and George, and has played a pivotal role in boys' trend and design development for Walmart US and Canada. Previous experience includes roles as Final Artist for Children's Apparel Network, where Baker produced tech packs and art pages for various children's clothing lines, and Assistant Designer for G&W Industries, focusing on the Nicole Miller Kids collection. At Garan, Incorporated, Baker contributed to girlswear design and graphics for various Walmart programs, and began a career in pattern digitizing at Top Notch Pattern Services. Baker holds a Bachelor of Science in Textiles, Merchandising, and Design from Middle Tennessee State University and studied further at the Fashion Institute of Technology.
