Jane Barber is a nurse and adaptive sports professional with a passion for bringing healing through sports to people living with disabilities, injury or the effects of trauma and Parkinson's Disease. She has taught adaptive skiing with Breckenridge Outdoor Education Center (BOEC) in Breckenridge, Colorado for the past 15 years. Several years ago she had the inspiration to pursue yoga teacher training so that she could bring yoga to her adaptive skiing clients.
She received her E-RYT 200 certification in May, 2016. She added to her career, one-on-one yoga therapy that she received from YogaReach. Jane also teaches yoga with Spaulding Adaptive Sports on Cape Cod in the summer. Jane is delighted to become a member of the YogaReach team. Jane is grateful to Char Grossman for the incredible opportunity to be a part of InMotion's journey.

InMotion is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization serving people with Parkinson’s disease (PD) and their care partners. Through evidenced-based exercise, expressive therapies, support, and education, their holistic integrated approach has proven to enhance both mind and body. Their data show that, in aggregate, people who participate regularly in their exercise programs can slow the progression of their disease.
