As a partner at Frantz Ward, Michael Chesney represents management in all aspects of labor and employment law, including representing employers in court, arbitrations, administrative proceedings and other disputes. He advises companies, both large and small, on human resources issues and litigation prevention. He has successfully represented employers in single plaintiff and class/collective actions in state and federal courts, arbitration matters, and before administrative agencies throughout the country.
Michael is involved in the Greater Cleveland community and has volunteered through the United Methodist Church, North Coast District as a member of the District Superintendency Committee, and has served as a member of the Risk Management Committee of the United Way of Greater Cleveland. He is a graduate of Cleveland Leadership Center’s Civic Leadership Institute Class of 2014. Michael received his law degree, summa cum laude, from the University of Notre Dame and his A.B. from Duke University.

InMotion is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization serving people with Parkinson’s disease (PD) and their care partners. Through evidenced-based exercise, expressive therapies, support, and education, their holistic integrated approach has proven to enhance both mind and body. Their data show that, in aggregate, people who participate regularly in their exercise programs can slow the progression of their disease.
