Jonathan Filzen currently serves as the Regional Director for the Upper Midwest at Inner Explorer since September 2025. Prior to this role, Jonathan was the Director of K-12 Outreach & Engagement at World Savvy from May 2024 to September 2025. Jonathan also held the positions of Director of K12 District Partnerships and Implementation Specialist at Everfi between August 2019 and May 2024. Earlier experience includes serving as Program Manager for Minnesota Business Venture and Outreach and Education Outreach Specialist at BestPrep from October 2015 to August 2019, as well as an 8th Grade Reading Teacher at Venture Academy and a Corps Member with Teach For America from May 2013 to July 2015. Jonathan began a career in support roles as a Personal Care Assistant at Community Involvement Programs and Choices For Children from September 2010 to May 2013. Jonathan earned a Bachelor of Communication Studies in Communication and Media Studies from the University of Minnesota from 2010 to 2013.
