Gary Schaefer

Gary Schaefer currently serves as Chief Commercial Officer at InnerPlant since November 2023, following a diverse career in leadership roles within the agricultural industry. Prior to InnerPlant, Gary held the position of Vice President of Revenue and Sales at Enko from July 2021 to October 2023, and served as Vice President of Corporate Development at the same company. Previously, Gary worked at Valent U.S.A. LLC / Sumitomo Chemical, where roles included Director of Business Development and Business Unit Head for Professional Products and Industrial Vegetation Management. Additional experience includes positions at Syngenta, where Gary was involved in various capacities from District Manager to Campaign Lead. Gary's educational background includes a Master of Agribusiness from the University of Florida, along with executive education from Harvard Business School and Kellogg School of Management, and a Bachelor of Science in Food and Resource Economics from the University of Florida.
