Connor Scott

Connor Scott has extensive experience in human resources. Connor started their career as a Human Resources Co-op Student at Eclipse Automation, where they led orientation sessions, assisted with recruitment, and organized company events. Connor then moved on to become a Human Resources Assistant at the same company, where they continued to lead orientations, conduct training sessions, and maintain employee files. After that, they became an HR Coordinator, focusing on training, recruitment, and safety. Connor administered new hire orientations, conducted interviews, and facilitated safety training.

In 2019, Connor joined the INNIO Group as an HR Sourcing and Recruitment Specialist. Connor was responsible for sourcing and recruiting talent for the company. Subsequently, they became the Lead Human Resources Generalist at INNIO Group, providing coaching and support to managers and employees on HR programs, policies, and processes. Connor also acted as the main point of contact for attendance management programs.

Before joining Eclipse Automation, Connor worked as an HR Student Consultant at Enterprise Rent-A-Car. Here, they implemented social media recruitment strategies, analyzed company data, and presented best practice recommendations.

Connor Scott completed their Bachelor's Degree in Human Geography from Brock University, which they attended from 2012 to 2015. Connor then pursued a graduate degree in Human Resources Management at Conestoga College from 2015 to 2016. Additionally, they obtained various certifications including being a Joint Health and Safety Committee Representative - Level 2 from OSG in 2018, and being a trainer for Aerial Work Platform, Fall Arrest and Prevention, Industrial Crane, Industrial Forklift Operation, and Propane Cylinder and Exchange from OSG and C.M. Safety Consultants Inc. in October 2016.
