Jane Cocking is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in corporate communications and community engagement. Currently serving as the Manager of Corporate Communications & Community Engagement for the Town of Innisfil since April 2022, Jane previously held a role as a Faculty Member at Georgian College, where responsibilities included developing course syllabi and instructing post-graduate students in Public Relations and Corporate Communications. Jane's career also includes a significant tenure at Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre as the Manager of Corporate Communications, overseeing communication strategies, crisis management, and stakeholder engagement. Earlier positions include Events Coordinator for the City of Barrie and Marketing Manager at Flags Unlimited. Jane possesses a Bachelor's degree in History from the University of Toronto and a Certificate in Public Relations from Humber College, complemented by executive training in healthcare leadership from the Rotman School of Management.
