Robert Rioux

Robert Rioux has worked in various roles in the medical device industry since 1988. Robert began their career at Avitar as a Product Development Engineer, a position they held for two years. From 1997 to 2011, they were the Director of R&D at Boston Scientific and Hologic. In 2012, they became the Director of R&D Oncology at Angiodynamics and in 2013 they were a Consultant at Benik Product Development. From 2015 to present, they have been the CTO/COO of Innoblative Designs, Inc. Prior to that, they were the VP of R&D at Bovie Medical Corporation from 2008 to 2011, where they developed an Electrosurgical Device Portfolio and drove Product Development and commercialization of the portfolio of Electrosurgical Devices, as well as sourcing and assessing New Business Development Opportunities.

Robert Rioux attended Northeastern University from 1980 to 1985, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Mechanical Engineering.
