Shin-chen

Shin-chen, Michael Hou is the Director of biologics discovery at InnoCare, a position held since 2021. They previously served as an Assistant Professor at ShanghaiTech University from 2016 to 2019, specializing in therapeutic and synthetic antibodies. Between 2019 and 2021, they held the title of AD to D at BioDuro, focusing on antibody discovery. Shin-chen also had a brief tenure as a Visiting Professor at the University of Toronto in 2017 and worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow at Academia Sinica from 2009 to 2016. They earned a PhD in life sciences from Academia Sinica and the National Defense Medical Center from 2001 to 2009, along with a Master’s degree from National Taiwan University from 1999 to 2001.
