Markus B.

Markus B. has over 15 years of experience in battery applications, including special lithium ion and lithium polymer systems. Markus began their career in 2000 as the Head of Battery Tests for FortuBat Batteries GmbH. From 2003 to 2004, they were the Head of the System Department for Bullith Batteries AG. From 2004 to 2007, they were the Managing Director of Applications Engineering for fortu Research GmbH. From 2007 to 2013, they were the Managing Director for Alevo Battery Technology GmbH, where they were responsible for the validation and testing of batteries and battery systems, interpreting product specifications and research results to develop suitable and successful product solutions, working with research, design, and manufacturing team members to develop cells, battery packaging and electronics interfacing, modeling of battery cycling behavior, life and degradation, and customer relations. Since 2018, they have been the Chief Engineer, Co-MD Germany, and Board Member for Innolith.

Markus B. attended Karlsruhe University of Applied Sciences from 1995 to 2000, where they earned a Dipl.-Ing. (FH) degree in Elektrische Energietechnik / electrical engineering.
