InnoSécur is a security and defence innovation and research hub based in Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu, at the heart of one of Canada’s leading ecosystems in this strategic sector.

Our mission is to accelerate the development, qualification and commercialization of dual-use technologies, innovations that can be applied to military operations as well as civil and public security, while building connections between research, industry and real-world operational needs.

InnoSécur brings together a network of defence and security stakeholders around three complementary groups:

▪️ Prime contractors seeking to identify, qualify and integrate emerging suppliers and innovative solutions.

▪️ Startups and SMEs looking to enter the security and defence markets through tailored support, incubation, access to industry networks, operational needs and business opportunities.

▪️Research partners involved in the development of a Joint Research Unit, known in French as an UMR, which brings together researchers from universities, colleges and industry to collaborate on shared priorities in civil security, public safety and defence.

Located just 30 minutes from Montreal, in a region that is home to the Saint-Jean Garrison, the Royal Military College Saint-Jean and a strong network of manufacturers and suppliers, InnoSécur mobilizes this ecosystem to position the Haut-Richelieu region as a leading hub for innovation, research and the development of security and defence solutions.
