Chatham Sullivan

Chatham, along with HBS innovator-in-residence Michael Maness, is creating a new consulting organization dedicated to overcoming the human obstacles to innovation, strategy and change. He is a former partner at Innosight. An organizational psychologist by training, Chatham is an expert on the role that senior executives play in strategy and innovation. Chatham has a rich history working closely with CEOs, boards, and senior leaders in organizations as diverse as Fortune 100 corporations, owner-led businesses, elite universities, and cultural institutions.

Chatham is the author of the recently published book, The Clarity Principle: How Great Leaders Make the Most Important Decision in Business (And What Happens When They Don’t). Before Innosight Chatham was a partner at Pivot, a leadership consulting firm, and a senior manager at CFAR (The Center for Applied Research).

In addition to his consulting experience, Chatham has taught executive education at the Wharton School of Business, the Leonard Davis Institute of Health Economics, and the School of Social Policy at the University of Pennsylvania.

Chatham lives in Cambridge, Massachusetts with his wife Elizabeth and their three children, Sophia, Abraham, and Lyra. He is an avid fly fisherman, having once been a professional guide on Wyoming’s Platte River.
