Raina Park

Raina Park is the Manager at Innosight. Raina has been with the company since June 2017 and in their current role, they contribute to the development of growth strategy for professional services clients. Prior to their current role, they were a Summer Associate with the company where they conducted secondary research and expert interviews to understand market and competitive landscape to identify clients’ jobs-to-be-done.

Before joining Innosight, Raina worked as an Associate in the New Product Planning department at Samsung Electronics' Consumer Electronics Division. There, they led cross-functional teams at the Value Innovation Center focused on creating new products and services for Samsung, utilizing design thinking methodology and Blue Ocean Strategy. Raina collaborated with various business divisions to design product concepts and build and test prototypes for local and global markets. Additionally, they conducted primary consumer research to extract latent consumer needs and derive insights helpful for targeting specific consumer segments.

During their time at Samsung Electronics, Raina launched a new air conditioner that outperformed others in the market. Raina also developed a business strategy to increase percentage of locked-in users of Samsung Galaxy Note smartphone series by 10%. In addition, they designed and produced working prototypes of a smart infant toy and smart cradle as part of Samsung Electronics’ new business platform for mothers and new infants.

Outside of their work at Innosight and Samsung Electronics, Raina has also facilitated workshops for cross-functional teams to develop concepts using tools from the Blue Ocean Strategy and design thinking method. Additionally, they developed and led a one-year internship program called "Idea Pool" for local university students where they guided students to generate new product concepts which were then presented to the C-suite at an annual Best Practices Exhibition.

Raina Park received their MBA from Harvard Business School and their B.S. in Materials Science and Engineering from Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
