Susannah Burrage is a Senior Associate at Innosight. Susannah previously worked as an MBA Intern for Starbucks' Global Supply Chain and Food Sourcing from June 2018 to August 2018. In this role, Susannah interviewed more than 50 cross-functional employees and 15 suppliers to reveal how Starbucks' atypical food evolution clashes with suppliers' operations and synthesize overlooked tensions within Starbucks' $2.5B food business. Susannah also designed an operating model to streamline coordination among more than 200 suppliers and developed an implementation roadmap. Prior to their work at Starbucks, Susannah was the Manager of Business Development and Corporate Partnerships at First Book from August 2015 to July 2017. In this role, they were responsible for developing and executing partnerships with key companies in order to drive revenue and expand First Book's reach. Susannah also worked as a Senior Associate at Community Wealth Partners from February 2013 to July 2015, where they helped clients develop and implement strategies for community impact. Finally, Susannah was the Program Coordinator for the Seminars Department at The Aspen Institute from January 2012 to January 2013, where they managed all aspects of program logistics and administration.
Susannah Burrage has a Master of Business Administration from Yale School of Management and a Bachelor of Arts in Government and Legal Studies from Bowdoin College.
