Igor Markidan

Igor Markidan has over 25 years of experience in software development and project management. In 2018, they began working as a Senior Software Developer at MCG Energy Solutions, LLC. Prior to this, they were a Senior Consultant at Innotap, where they worked on the expansion and enhancement of DecisionDock, a virtual desktop for power traders. From 2013 to 2015, Igor worked as a Technical Program Manager and Solution Consultant at Comverse, where they managed global software and hardware deployments and operational support of real-time billing systems. From 2012 to 2013, they were the Founder of Cherry Hill Systems, where they designed and developed an application for the hospitality industry. From 2010 to 2013, Igor worked as a Solution Consultant at QVC, where they reviewed integration issues for mission critical Order Flow applications. From 2005 to 2010, they were a Technical Program Manager at Comverse. From 2002 to 2004, Igor worked as a Senior Consultant and Project Leader at CIGNA Group Insurance, where they managed development, integration, and enhancement of an intranet-based document generation system. From 1998 to 2002, they were a Senior Software Developer and Project Leader at PPGx, Inc. (formerly Belmont Research, division of PPD, Inc.), where they led the design and implementation of GeneTrials LIMS, a GLP-compliant laboratory information management system. From 1997 to 1998, Igor worked as a Senior Software Developer at Xerox, where they developed GUI and database software for a knowledge management system. From 1994 to 1997, they were a Senior Consultant at Neuron Data, providing product consulting and leading successful projects for customers.

Igor Markidan holds a Master's degree in Computer Science and Applied Mathematics from Rīgas Tehniskā universitāte (Riga Technical University).
