Brian Sharp is an experienced journalist with over 27 years in the field. Currently serving as a Reporter/Producer at WXXI Public Broadcasting Council since May 2022, Brian previously worked as a Reporter for the Democrat and Chronicle from July 2005 to May 2022, focusing on local government, development, photonics, and sports business. Earlier in Brian's career, a position was held as a Reporter/Night City Editor at the Iowa City Press-Citizen from January 1996 to June 2005. Brian Sharp holds a degree from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, where education was completed from 1991 to 1995, following earlier studies at Lincoln East High School from 1989 to 1991.
