Randy Good

Randy Good is a Human Factors Consultant with 20 years of experience in the development and testing of medical devices and combination products. Currently serving as the Director of Human Factors at Innovenn, they lead operations of the Improvita human factors lab and provide guidance for regulatory strategies. Previously, Randy held various roles at notable companies, including Principal Human Factors Engineer at Medtronic and Sr. Systems and Product Validation Engineer at Covidien, where they contributed to high-priority projects and moderated numerous usability tests. Randy co-authored an internal Human Factors Engineering Method at Medtronic and actively participates in the development of medical device alarm standards. They hold a Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology and Applied Physiology from the University of Colorado Boulder and have additional certifications in usability and software testing.
