Patrick Kelly

Patrick Kelly has held a variety of positions in the analytics and technology fields since 1998. In that time, they have worked for Hub One Logistics, Pittsburgh Public Schools, VigilantMinds, Solutionary, Inc., West Penn Allegheny Health System, Avnet Services, and Avnet Technology Solutions.

At Hub One Logistics, they worked as a Logistics Analyst, designing and developing data warehouses for sales, purchasing, and inventory, as well as designing, developing, and supporting Cognos cubes and reports and an internal java portal.

At Pittsburgh Public Schools, they were a Database Analyst III, designing and developing a data warehouse focused on providing a 360 view of the student, and serving as development DBA for the application development team.

At VigilantMinds, they were a Senior Database Administrator, designing and developing a real-time data warehouse to house network security alerts and log data, as well as designing and developing the procedural code used in the management of 200+ remote network monitoring boxes.

At Solutionary, Inc., they were a Senior Database Architect, responsible for supporting the team with database development against Oracle Database, and maintaining Legacy VigilantMinds database systems during the merger.

At West Penn Allegheny Health System, they were a Manager of Technical Innovations, designing and developing a system-wide data warehouse combining clinical and financial data, leading analytics team to innovate through the design and application of analytic solutions, and designing and developing the technical architecture for the system-wide middleware solution.

At Avnet Services, they were a Senior Practice Manager, managing a healthcare analytics team focused on developing a hospital readmission application, and supporting the development of Vertica solutions and case studies in conjunction with HP.

At Avnet Technology Solutions, they were the Practice Director of Healthcare Analytics, managing a healthcare analytics team, developing services and software solutions focused on improving outcomes and lowering costs for providers, conducting architectural assessment and developing the technical recommendation for the integration infrastructure of a transformational healthcare company, and participating in hiring, evaluating, managing and training of the technical staff.

Finally, at Innovu, LLC, they were the Co-Founder and SVP of Analytics, as well as the Chief Analytics Officer (CAO) & Principal. In these roles, they were responsible for the strategic and operational leadership of Innovu's analytic pipeline, leading technical architects to support the various data requirements for the organization, and providing leadership around Innovu's Lean-Agile business and development processes.

Patrick Kelly obtained a Bachelor's degree in Criminology from East Tennessee State University between 1993 and 1997. Patrick then went on to earn an MS in Information Science from the University of Pittsburgh between 2000 and 2002. Patrick also holds several certifications, including a Certified ScrumMaster from the Scrum Alliance obtained in 2011, a Certified Scrum Developer from the Scrum Alliance obtained in 2012, The Data Scientist’s Toolbox by Johns Hopkins University obtained in 2015, Leadership Communication for Maximum Impact: Storytelling obtained in 2016, High Performance Collaboration: Leadership, Teamwork, and Negotiation obtained in 2016, and an Executive Data Science Specialization obtained in 2016.
