Corey Bobco

Corey Bobco has worked in the software engineering and data engineering/machine learning fields since 2010. In 2010, they worked as a Writing Consultant at The University of Texas at Austin. In 2013, they worked as a Data Analyst at HP, where they wrote case summaries, used server logs, and worked with teammates to identify trends. From 2014 to 2017, they worked as a Software Engineer at Social Solutions, where they developed features from design to implementation. From 2017 to 2018, they worked as a Software Engineer at Magento Commerce, where they wrote Selenium tests, automated the installation and configuration of marketplace extensions, and worked with a Jenkins CICD pipeline. From 2018 to 2020, they worked as a Data Engineer at Ruckit Inc, where they developed features, created an ETL pipeline, wrote Selenium tests, and created and managed a build pipeline. Currently, they work as a Data Engineer at Innowatts, where they do data engineering/machine learning tasks, as well as full-stack development and deployment of a React/FAST API web app.

Corey Bobco graduated from The University of Texas at Austin in 2014 with a Bachelor's Degree in English. Prior to that, they attended Klein High School from 2002 to 2007. Additionally, they obtained two certifications in 2019: Data Structures from Coursera in April, and Build a Modern Computer from First Principles: From Nand to Tetris (Project-Centered Course) from Coursera in March.
