Rob Timmer

Rob Timmer began their career in 1987 as a Product Manager for Food Preparation at Philips Domestic Appliances & Personal Care in Groningen. In 1988, they moved to Philips Taiwan as a Product Marketing Manager for Domestic Appliances & Personal Care, where they managed all products for the Taiwanese market. In 1992, they returned to Groningen as a Senior Product Manager for Table Top Cooking and Beverage. In 1997, they relocated to Hong Kong as a Senior Product Manager for Asia-Pacific Cooking. In 1999, they moved to Singapore as the Director of the Audio Creation Team, responsible for the development of Audio Systems and Home Theatre Systems. In 2002, they returned to Hong Kong as the Senior Director for Product Strategy & Planning for Personal Audio and Infotainment. In 2004, they moved to Eindhoven/Amsterdam as the Senior Director for Net TV, where they were responsible for the successful creation and launch of Net TV in Europe. In 2010, they joined Xylogic Consulting BV as the Managing Director and Consultant, providing strategy and business development in the area where Online Media & Entertainment meet multiple connected technology platforms. In 2011, they became a Senior Partner at TBK Consult, an international management consulting company. Finally, in 2012, they founded Innr Lighting, where they serve as the Founder and COO.

Rob Timmer began their education in 1976 at RSG Meppel, where they completed their studies in 1982. Rob then attended the University of Groningen and the RU Groningen from 1982 to 1987, earning a Drs. in Economics / Business Administration and a Drs. in Economics, respectively. In addition, they obtained a ValuePerform strategy review and development certification from ValueMaker.
