Sumit Joshi

Sumit Joshi has a strong background in software engineering, devops, and cloud engineering. Sumit is currently working as a Senior DevOps Engineer at innRoad since February 2022. Prior to that, Sumit worked at Amazon as a System Engineer from December 2020 to January 2022, and at Amazon Web Services as a Cloud Engineer (DevOps) from January 2019 to December 2020. Before joining Amazon, they worked as a Software Engineer at GS Lab from November 2017 to November 2018. Sumit also gained valuable experience at Prorigo Software Private Limited, where they worked as a Software Engineer from September 2015 to October 2017. During their time at Prorigo, they analyzed and managed software defects, actively participated in Agile Scrum activities, and designed and implemented Docker-based development environments. In addition, Sumit worked as a Guest Faculty at C-DAC ACTS Pune from July 2015 to July 2016 and as a Dissertation Intern at C-DAC (Formerly NCST) from August 2014 to May 2015. Sumit started their career as a Software Development Intern at Bhaskaracharya Institute For Space Applications and Geo-Informatics from November 2012 to April 2013.

Sumit Joshi completed a Master of Engineering (M.E.) degree in IT Systems & Network Security from GTU PG School between 2013 and 2015. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in Computer Engineering from Government Engineering College, Bhavnagar from 2009 to 2013. In addition to their formal education, Sumit has also obtained certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in July 2021, and CKA: Certified Kubernetes Administrator from The Linux Foundation in January 2020.
