Max Koeppel is a Data & ML Engineer at inovex GmbH since May 2021 and a member of AI Guild since November 2020. Koeppel participated in the Data Science Bootcamp at SPICED Academy from June to October 2020, focusing on Python-based data analysis and machine learning. At HSB Hochschule Bremen, Koeppel served as a Bioinformatics Teacher, guiding final year Bachelor students in genomic analysis. Prior experience includes leading the Functional Genomics team at Leibniz Institute DSMZ from 2016 to 2020, where Koeppel established bioinformatics pipelines and analyzed genomic translocations in hematological malignancies. From 2011 to 2015, Koeppel worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Max Planck Institute for Infection Biology, developing projects on bacterial infections and DNA damage responses. Academic credentials include a PhD in Molecular Biology from Radboud University and a Diploma in Biology from The Philipp University of Marburg.
