Jay Wiegand

Jay Wiegand is a senior operations and business professional currently serving as the Site Manager and Chief Operating Officer for TPSCo, a joint venture between INEOS and Viridor, at the largest Energy from Waste facility in the UK. With extensive leadership experience in high-hazard operations critical to national infrastructure, Jay has developed and implemented strategies while managing site leadership teams across various functions including production, safety, engineering, and quality. Prior to this role, Jay held several senior positions, including Operations Director at Francis Flower and Engenda Group, and has a background in managing COMAH registered chemical plants with a focus on improving manufacturing performance and health and safety compliance. Their expertise is complemented by a deep understanding of strategic management and continuous improvement within complex operations.
