INOW is homestay program in Kamikatsu, Tokushima. The purpose of the program is to encourage participants to explore, reflect, and, through experience, learn about zero waste and sustainability in Kamikatsu, Tokushima. 

The program is designed to help participants deepen their self-awareness not only in terms of sustainability, but to reflect on their connection with time, effort, money, and waste. Through different program activities, participants will be able to broaden their understanding of how to live a more sustainable life. We want to introduce our participants to "transformative tourism", which is tourism that changes the participants' values and outlook on life.

プログラム参加者は上勝町に滞在し、上勝町全てをフィールドとして以下のようなWS等を体験することができる。当該プログラムの目的はゼロ・ウェイストタウン上勝町をフィールドとして、町での暮らしや様々な体験から「ゼロ・ウェイストマインド」を体感することで、参加者自らが自分自身についてより探究し、自己理解を促すことである。

ゼロ・ウェイストとは多くの場合「ごみゼロ」と解釈されるが、本来的には「無駄、浪費をゼロにすること」という意味がある。この考えのもと、当社ではごみだけでなく、参加者自らの「時間」「労力」「お金」そして「ごみ」といった要素において、実際に上勝町での暮らしを体験する中で、この４つの要素の使い方のバランスを知り、自己理解を深められるよう設計されている。
