John Ribeiro

John Ribeiro is an accomplished legal professional with extensive experience in international arbitration and dispute resolution. A former Research Fellow at the School of International Arbitration, University of London, John transitioned to become a Trainee Solicitor at Herbert Smith Freehills, where expertise was developed in handling complex disputes for clients in the pharmaceutical, technology, media, and telecommunications, and hospitality sectors. Currently serving as Senior Legal Counsel for INPEX Corporation and as Visiting Academic Staff at Osaka University, John's qualifications include an LLB from Queen Mary, University of London, a Ph.D. in International Commercial Arbitration, and a Master's degree in International Public Policy, both from Osaka University. Through diverse international experience, John has effectively managed arbitrations across various jurisdictions and institutions.
