Luke Machen is the Executive General Manager at Moray East Offshore Windfarm, where they lead the project and oversee asset optimization and risk management. Previously, Luke gained extensive experience in the offshore wind sector at RWE, serving as Offshore Wind Farm Engineer and later as Asset Manager for Gwynt y Mor Offshore Wind Farm. They also held the position of Operations Director for Blauwwind, managing the transition to operations for Borssele III & IV Offshore Windfarm. Luke began their career as a Wind Turbine Blade Engineer with Vestas and holds a Master of Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Southampton. Currently, they contribute to INPEX’s net zero initiatives within its offshore wind portfolio in Europe.
