Ben Schmidt

Ben Schmidt is an experienced professional in the LNG sector with a career that spans over two decades. Currently serving as Production Manager at INPEX since June 2012, Ben has held various leadership roles, including Operations Superintendent and Production Team Leader for the Ichthys Onshore LNG project, focusing on recruitment, development of operations readiness, and providing operational input within multinational teams. Prior to INPEX, Ben was the Operations Team Leader for the Pluto LNG project at Woodside Energy, where responsibilities included team recruitment and procedure development. Earlier roles also encompassed production training at Shell's Sakhalin LNG Facility and commissioning at ConocoPhillips’ Darwin LNG Facility. Ben's career began in LNG Operations at Woodside Energy, contributing to the Northwest Shelf Joint Venture.
