Jake Prout

Jake Prout is an experienced environmental professional, currently serving as Environment Lead for Exploration and Growth at INPEX since October 2011, focusing on carbon capture and storage initiatives. Prout has a diverse background in environmental management, having held key positions such as Director at Progressive Developments (WA) Pty Ltd from November 2012 to November 2023, and Environmental Studies Coordinator for the Scarborough LNG project at ExxonMobil. Previous roles include Environmental Advisor for the Kellogg Joint Venture on the Gorgon project, where responsibilities included developing Environmental Management Systems and managing both terrestrial and marine logistics, as well as positions at ecologia Environment and Australian Newsprint Mills. Prout holds a B.Sc. in Resource and Environmental Management with a focus on Ecology and Forestry from The Australian National University.
